In order to provide researchers with the information networks, resources and funding required for successful research, CISRI will receive private funding from various organizations that seek to support and drive research in the field of information science. Cogniva Information Solutions will supply CISRI with preliminary funds and also function as a stable baseline funding source for the Institute.

CISRI will also investigate additional private funding opportunities within the information management and scientific communities on an ongoing basis. Organizations of all kinds stand to benefit from new research in the field of information science. CISRI will provide them with a means to support this research, giving them a leadership role in today’s rapidly-evolving information economy.
